Driving To The Grassland With My Family
On the occasion of the National Day, I remembered taking my children to travel. The most unforgettable thing for me was that our family went to the grassland.

Before I arrived at the grassland, I asked the man in the grassland what I needed to pay attention to when going to the grassland. He said there was nothing to pay attention to, that is, there were few people and cars on the road.
He was right. There were few vehicles we encountered along the way. For a long time, it seemed that we were the only one driving under the sky, and we suddenly felt much smaller.
As soon as the car stopped, the children couldn’t wait to get out of the car. When they got on the grassland, they ran away like a deer, and I chased after them reluctantly. Tired of running, the children stopped to rest, looked here for a while, looked over there for a while, asked what this was, and asked what it was for a while. Seeing a large flock of sheep from a distance, they ran over excitedly. I chased after it again.
“Dad, look, the one with the biggest head is the leader. There really is a leader! The other sheep have to follow it.” The children seemed to have discovered the mystery.
It was also the first time I saw this situation with my own eyes.
“Will the sheep run away?” I asked the shepherd.
“Run, why don’t you run?” His voice was thick and powerful.
“Hey, Dad!” The children stood far away on the high ground of the grassland and shouted at me. The sound was mixed with the wind of the grassland, which was particularly loud.
Seeing the herdsmen leading some horses, the children shouted to ride a horse.
How can you not ride a horse when you come to the grassland?
We talked about the price with the herdsmen, and the children and I rode horses on the grassland.
The herdsmen enthusiastically told us to walk slowly for a while and then run faster.
The horse started running, too bumpy, and the crotch was a little unbearable. However, the children were not afraid. Instead, they were very excited and couldn’t help shouting “Drive! Drive! Drive!”. This is probably learned from TV, and now it comes in use.
The so-called insight is to see and understand, that is, a kind of life experience.
During the trip, children enrich their knowledge by observing and asking questions.
Suddenly, the child asked me, “Dad, what are those symbols? It’s similar to the one on the money.”
“That’s Mongolian. Isn’t it like a picture?” I was surprised by the child’s ability to observe and connect things.
Later, when the children saw the Mongolian characters that could be seen everywhere, they were surprised and interested in them. They compared the Mongolian characters and Chinese characters they saw along the way, and actually started their research and discussion. This is probably the purpose of “ traveling thousands of miles”, that is, to increase knowledge.
“If you want to buy osmanthus and wine, it’s not like a youth tour.”
Our family took a self-driving trip to the prairie. The journey was long and hard, but we gained a special travel experience and precious memories of a happy family.
